Lamoka Lake

Lamoka Lake is a freshwater lake located in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, in the towns of Tyrone and Wayne. The lake is approximately 6 miles long and 0.5 miles wide, with a maximum depth of around 60 feet. It is a popular destination for fishing and water sports, and hosts several campgrounds and vacation homes along its shoreline. Fish species found in the lake include bass, walleye, pike, and trout. The name "Lamoka" is derived from the Native American word for "lake on the hill."
